At RYCA, Inc. we are mothers, fathers, sons and daughters, just like our customers—so in addition to creating the best oral hygiene products possible, we are committed to improving people’s lives. Our core team has collectively brought nearly 100 products to market. We have the dental, engineering, and business experience, as well as the passion to succeed in making Encompass the new gold standard in oral care.
Our Origin Story
Our CEO, Ryan Schwartz, is the son of a renowned Beverly Hills dentist, Dr. Cary Schwartz, but that never stopped him from neglecting his teeth. Like so many, Ryan never brushed for the required two minutes, and often missed the hard-to-reach areas. Years ago during a routine cleaning, his father’s hygienist suggested Ryan whiten his teeth. As Ryan slid the customized bleaching tray into his mouth, he had a wild idea: What if the tray was lined with bristles and could brush the whole mouth in a fraction of the time! Ryan immediately called his father who knew better than anyone that a brush like that would be oral care salvation! That’s how Encompass got started – A true Father-Son story.

Core to our mission is providing children, the elderly and everyone with motor difficulties a dignified and simplified solution to oral care. Our team is also deeply passionate and committed to philanthropy, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility. Our mission to improve people’s lives through better oral care goes beyond those who can afford our products.
